AAAC Gallery Presents Singapore Dreaming

AAAC Gallery Presents Singapore Dreaming

1 July 2026 to 1 March 2027

OCBC Wisma Atria, #04-01

Singapore Dreaming brings together the works of Singapore artist Jahan Loh and British artist Charlie Haydn in a dialogue that explores different ways of seeing and imagining the city.

Jahan Loh presents a vibrant and energetic vision shaped by contemporary culture, personal symbolism and the experience of living in a rapidly evolving Singapore. In contrast, Charlie Haydn’s Falling from Light series offers a quieter perspective, drawing from observation, memory and imagination to reflect on the city's atmosphere and character.

Together, the exhibition presents two complementary viewpoints: one from within Singapore and one from beyond it. While differing in approach, both artists explore themes of place, identity and perception, revealing the many ways a city can be understood and interpreted.

Through colour, narrative and memory, Singapore Dreaming invites viewers to look beyond the physical city and consider the multiple versions of Singapore that exist within our collective imagination.
