His works have been exhibited across China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, and France, and he is widely regarded as one of Singapore’s most distinctive artistic voices.

Embracing an intuitive, unplanned approach to artmaking, Ng begins with no sketches or outlines, allowing dreams, memories, and lived experiences to unfold freely on the canvas. His mantra – “Painting is life, not a profession” – encapsulates both his artistic philosophy and personal conviction.

Art Outreach Singapore presents "Modern Wisdoms," curated by Zarina Muhammad, showcasing fine art prints by local urban artists ANTZ, Chris Chai, and Lewis Choo. Discover the story behind one of Singapore’s oldest heritage businesses - Say Tian Hng Buddha Shop, established in 1896.

Featured by the National Geographic, Asian Civilisations Museum and South China Morning Post, the 4th-generation workshop crafts and restores wooden statues of Taoist and Buddhist deities by hand. This is achieved using traditional techniques from the early Qing Dynasty listed today in China as part of its national Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Mae Anderson is a deeply engaged volunteer in Singapore’s non-profit sector. She has served on the Board of Art Outreach, a leading art education non-profit organization in Singapore since 2003. She has been the organisation’s Chairman since 2007 and has also served on various government and statutory board art advisory committees, including the National Arts Council’s Public Art Trust, Venice Biennale Commissioning Panel, and the Land Transport Authority’s Art Review Panel.
