Terms and conditions governing the Pay Any Card service
These terms and conditions apply and regulate our Pay Any Card service. By signing up to this service, you agree to accept and keep to these terms and conditions, so please read them carefully before using the service.
Under our Pay Any Card service, we can set up bill-payment services from your account with us to the account of any person (the ‘beneficiary’) who holds a Visa or MasterCard debit or credit card (the ‘beneficiary card’) in Singapore dollars with any other bank in Singapore (the ‘beneficiary bank’).
Our Pay Any Card service is available on internet banking. You can get started by adding a card to your payee list. When you make a payment to that card through internet banking, we will take this as your authorization for us to withdraw money from your account to pay to that card. We will also take any charges we may set from your account from time to time. We do not have to go ahead with your Pay Any Card instruction if you do not have enough money in your account to cover the payment amount and any charges for this service at the time of the transaction.
Pay Any Card service is only available for Visa and MasterCard debit and credit cards issued in Singapore in Singapore dollars.
Each payment made under the Pay Any Card service must be no more than S$15,000. Whether we receive your Pay Any Card instruction through internet or mobile banking the total amount of all payments made from your account each month must be no more than S$100,000 or the balance available in your account, whichever is lower.
We will only transfer the payment amount to the account number of the beneficiary card you have given us details of. If necessary, we may ask you for more details about the beneficiary and their card and you must give us these details before we can carry out your instruction. However, we have the right to refuse any Pay Any Card instruction and we do not need to give you the reason for this.
If we receive a Pay Any Card instruction from you before the cut-off time, we will carry it out on the next business day. If we receive your instruction after the cut-off time, we will carry it out within two business days. The cut-off times may be affected by scheduled maintenance of our systems. ‘Business day’ means any day on which banks in Singapore are open for business other than Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
