Renovation Loan Promotion terms and conditions

 

    General

  1. The Promotion is applicable for Renovation Loan applications received by OCBC Bank by 31 December 2013 at the loan amount of at least S$15,000 and a loan tenure of at least 3 years. The approved loan must be disbursed between 21 October 2013 and 31 Jan 2014 to qualify for this Promotion. Customers who do not have a valid Singapore mailing address are not eligible for the Promotion.

  2. The decision of OCBC Bank on all matters relating to the Promotion is final, conclusive and binding on all participants and no correspondences will be entertained. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions shall prevail.

  3. OCBC Bank reserves the right to terminate or suspend the Promotion and/or add to, delete, change or vary these terms and conditions at any time or from time to time without notice.
  4. All participants in the Promotion irrevocably permit and authorise OCBC Bank to disclose, reveal and divulge information regarding the customer and the account to any person (including but not limited to the parties involved in organising, promoting and conducting the Promotion) as OCBC Bank deems fit for the purpose of the Promotion.
  5. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and the participants in the Promotion irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions.

Courts Voucher

  1. Each eligible customer will receive a Courts voucher worth S$50. Eligible customers will be notified by post via their latest mailing address registered with OCBC Bank and/or by phone within two (2) months of loan disbursement. The redemption letter will be sent to the customer’s latest mailing address registered with OCBC Bank.
  2. Voucher(s) are not exchangeable for cash or other items and the terms and conditions of the voucher(s) apply. Validity period stated on the voucher(s) are non-extendable.
  3. OCBC Bank reserves the right to replace the voucher(s) with any item of similar value without notice.
  4. No request to replace the voucher(s) will be entertained if the voucher(s) is lost, expired or damaged.
  5. OCBC Bank reserves the right to reclaim the voucher(s) in the event of a cancellation of the renovation loan for any reason within twelve (12) months of application. Customer will bear all costs and expenses incurred in relation to such cancellation. OCBC Bank reserves the right to debit any account of the customer with OCBC Bank for the value of the voucher(s) without notice.
  6. OCBC Bank will not re-send the voucher(s) in the event that the address provided by the customer is incorrect or not valid or when the customer delays the courier to the point where additional courier charges apply.

Courts Promotional Packages

  1. Promotion package deals will be available from 1 December 2013 to 28 February 2014 (both dates are inclusive). Customers may purchase any/both promotional package(s) from Courts.

  2. Customers are required to contact Courts Corporate Sales hotline at 63097745 or 63097748 to make purchases.
  3. Each eligible customer will receive a promotion package brochure along with their cashier’s orders. Customers can either request for the promotional package brochure to be mailed to them at their latest mailing address registered with OCBC Bank or to self-collect at the 31 Tampines Avenue 4, #01-01/03 OCBC Tampines Centre 2, Singapore 529680.
  4. In the event that the Promotion Packages Brochures are lost, misplaced or stolen, a customer’s entitlement to a duplicate copy is subject to the sole discretion and final determination of OCBC Bank.
  5. The promotion packages are available on a whilst-stocks-last basis. The merchant reserves the right to replace the items within the promotion packages with any item of similar value without notice. Customers are required to liaise directly with the merchant providing the package with regard to stock availability. OCBC Bank is not in a position to guarantee stock availability and shall not be responsible if the merchant has no available stock.
  6. OCBC Bank makes no representation or warranty whatsoever as to the quality or fitness for purpose or any other implied terms or conditions with respect to the items within the promotion packages and assumes no liability or responsibility for the acts or defaults of the merchant and/or manufacturer or for any non-delivery, non-performance or defects of the items under the promotion packages. OCBC Bank is not an agent of the merchant and/or manufacturer. Any dispute(s) as to the quality or the performance of items within the promotion packages must be resolved by the customer(s) with the merchant and/or manufacturer directly.
  7. The use of the items is subject to such other terms and conditions as may be imposed by the merchant and/or manufacturer supplying them.
  8. All items within the promotion packages are neither transferable nor exchangeable for cash, credit or kind and shall be subject to such terms and conditions which OCBC Bank may in it sole discretion impose.
  9. OCBC Bank shall not be liable to any person for any loss, damage and/or injury whatsoever or howsoever caused arising from this campaign and/or use and/or enjoyment of the items within the promotion packages
  10. OCBC Bank reserves the right to charge customers for the full retail value of the items within the promotional packages should the Renovation Loan be cancelled or fully redeemed within twelve (12) months of the date of disbursement.
