All OCBC Online Banking customers will require the new token from 20 Dec 2012 to perform transactions that require enhanced security like those listed below:
The 'OTP' button allows you to generate a one-time password for login to Online and Mobile banking as well as to complete transactions that only require OTP. For your added convenience, you can continue to receive OTP through SMS if you have requested for this previously.
For transactions that require enhanced security, the new token is required. These transactions require the use of the 'SIGN' button to generate a unique code based on a series of numbers that you will enter into the token depending on the type of transaction. This code is required to complete the online and mobile banking transaction. There will be step-by-step instructions on-screen to guide you as you perform these Online and Mobile banking transactions that require the new token.
We will be sending the new token to our OCBC Online Banking customers progressively (in batches) from 8 October to 30 November 2012. Please wait for the token to be mailed to you. However, for customers who have not logged in to OCBC Online Banking in the past few months, you will be prompted with a token request screen after login. In this case, please follow the on-screen instructions to request for the token to be mailed to you.
