OCBC is committed to uphold the highest ethical standards in all our business dealings and relationships. We adopt a zero-tolerance stance against bribery and corruption, where any form of corrupt payment or gratification involving employees and third parties1 associated with OCBC is prohibited, whether it takes place directly or indirectly. Our Board and Senior Management are committed in its oversight to foster a culture of integrity that upholds it.
OCBC will act in full compliance with all applicable anti-bribery and corruption laws and regulations, including the Singapore Prevention of Corruption Act, UK Bribery Act, US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and all applicable local anti-bribery and corruption laws of the countries in which we operate.
Employees who fail to comply with any applicable anti-bribery and corruption laws, OCBC policies or our Code of Conduct, will be subject to disciplinary actions, which may include termination of employment.
Third parties found to engage in bribery and corruption, or to have failed to comply with the relevant anti-bribery and corruption laws will result in serious consequence, including termination of business contract and reporting to the relevant authorities.
