As one of the largest divisions within OCBC Bank, Group Operations & Technology is on a digital transformation journey to make banking seamless for our customers by creating a culture focused on creating excellent customer and employee experience. The division is recognised for its progressive thought leadership, strong innovation mindset and high investment in people development. Here at Group Operations & Technology, we push the boundaries of banking operations and technology, applications development and infrastructure by continuously challenging and improving the way we work.
Our solutions are viewed as the key competitive differentiator for OCBC Bank. Group Operations & Technology has achieved this through the provision of IT to-build solutions across the Bank and supporting the growth expansion strategies of the Group. The division runs the Bank's regional processing centres and technology operations in a dynamic manner, constantly driving process efficiency and service delivery.

- First bank in Singapore to enable cash withdrawals at ATMs using QR codes, 2019
- First bank in Singapore to roll out digital account opening service for MNCs, 2018
- First Singapore bank to allow instant customer account opening digitally, 2018
- First in Singapore to launch voice-powered conversational banking, 2018
Group Operations
Operations manages the Bank's regional processing centres, improving productivity and cost efficiency, to ensure that the Bank is running at optimal level. We pursue a constant refinement of processes, better way of doing things, and encourage cross-border collaborations with our regional partners, to deliver the best possible customer experience.
Group Technology
Bank-wide IT application and infrastructure services, information security, data centre operations, end-user services and project management are spread across two main pillars within the Technology division – "Run the Bank" and "Change the Bank". In "Run the Bank" we support and improve banking operations. Through "Change the Bank", we design and deliver new system designs in line with our customers' changing needs.
